Artist, Producer, Festival, Researcher, Workshop Leader
I advocate for early years arts in Ireland and abroad since 2008. I speak seven languages and love to communicate with diverse cultures. I founded Grasshoppers Early Years project in Ireland showcasing smallscale work directly in the community and in the Lark concert hall. I am artist in residence in Axis theatre Ballymun and I am an artist in residence at Dublin City University working with the students and staff on the early childhood degree for 2025/6. This is my third residency at a university. I was previously artist in residence for two years at Atlantic Technical University in the West of Ireland. I am immersed in all aspects of early childhood arts advocacy from the children and their carers to the educators, students and staff who teach early childhood education professionally. I also train communities of professional practice in Ireland in Outdoor Play and Meaningful Conversation. I perform five pieces for ages 0-6. Silver Tree; Dreamtrain; Mora; Trolland and the Shell Whisperer (coming in 2026). My work centres on the child and their wellbeing while present in the space with me. I prefer questions to answers. I co-founded a new network for early years arts in Ireland with Rose Producing in 2025. The EYNA. We hope to run a series of inperson events and online sessions to celebrate early years arts in Ireland and share contacts, ideas and expertise.
