Jackie Maguire is an actor, theatre maker, musician, researcher, author and early childhood arts lecturer with extensive experience of working with young children aged 0-6 years through the arts. In June 2024 she completed a Professional Diploma in Art & Ecology at NCAD and her recent practice has explored the relationship between the soil ecosystem and the human world. Jackie is a recipient of the Time at the Well 2025 Award with Trisha MacLaughlin and together they are developing Soil Story, a piece of new theatre work for a young audience aged 0-6 years about soil as a living ecosystem.
