Puppet Theatre Sampo is a cosy puppet theatre in central Helsinki, founded in 1977. Sampo’s work is driven by imagination, humour, and seen from the perspective of a child. At the core of theatre Sampo’s work is music and expertise in puppetry, which Sampo offers mainly in its work for children but also for adults. Sampo provides art education and exhibitions and organises an annual international puppetry festival – Sampo Festival – for children and adults in August.
